TWA Check Airmen
Still having communication issues. See bottom of page.
Each year a dedicated and distinguished group of airmen gather to visit old friends, make new ones, and socialize with many of the professionals that made TWA the benchmark of professionalism and standardization. If you ever served as a Check Airman or Instructor for TWA, in any capacity (Line, Simulator, CA, FO,or FE), please email us at the address at the bottom of the page with your name, email address, and equipment/position so we can put you on our distribution list.
We have a good cross section of airmen from all aircraft and ages, but we are always looking to expand our attendee list. We are especially looking to add younger airmen to our roster. Help us spread the word by passing the word along to other Check Airmen.
The annual reunion is a great time to catch up with old friends and get acquainted with professionals that shared a common mission. Through 2012 the annual reunion was held in St. Louis. In 2013 and 2014 we "took the show on the road" and moved the venue to Phoenix. The site was selected after a vote of our fellow Check Airmen. They were fantastic events and were very well attended. In 2015 we brought the reunion back to St. Louis. After some deliberation, it was decided to have the 2016 and 2017 reunions in the city where TWA was started and we took it to Kansas City. The facilities and dinner in Kansas City were wonderful and many attendees took the time to tour the TWA Museum at 10 Richards Road. After bypassing the reunion in 2018 we are planning a magnificent event at the newly opened TWA Hotel at JFK in New York. Go to the Reunion page for the latest information.
This website and the affiliated email are the principle methods of communication among this group of airmen. If you have information that you think your fellow Check Airmen would like to know, send us an email and we will blast it out to the distribution list. Personal information will not be posted on this website, it will be disseminated by email.
The reunion and emails are managed and organized principally by 4 volunteer former Check Airmen and management pilots. If you were a Check Airman for TWA, we invite you to join us and carry on the tradition.
Please check the Reunion page for important links to hotel reservations, dinner registration, and other related information. If you have not made hotel reservations and dinner regisrtation, please complete those at soon as possible. Sorry for the inconvenience.
